Albion’s home is at the Norfolk Wherry Trust’s yard, a very near neighbour to Pery Hunter’s ‘ladies’. You can normally see Albion’s mast with its distinctive wind vane rising high into the air behind the Broads Authority’s building in Hunter’s car park.
A short step along the lane brings you to their gate and these pictures were taken during a quick visit on a very dull and rainy Saturday in 2012.
Albion lives afloat, she is far to heavy to remove annually from the water, but under the cover of her boat shed. During the season she is generally moored with mast erect, but can be stored with mast lowered when she will be fully under cover.

There were several piles of timber seasoning ready for necessary ongoing maintenance tasks. Just look at the thicknes of the timber in this pile!
